Richfield Historical Society

Home of the Bartholomew House

The Richfield Historical Society was established in 1967 to preserve and celebrate the heritage of Richfield, Minnesota, and the historic Bartholomew House. Built in 1852 by Riley Bartholomew, this beautifully restored home now serves as a museum, offering visitors a graceful glimpse into Richfield’s rural beginnings—when rolling farmland and family homesteads defined the landscape that would one day become a thriving suburban community.
